Children’s Leather Jackets When it comes to children’s leather jackets you do not always have the multiple choices that you would for a man or women with the reason being they are not sold as much. It is not until the child gets into dirt bike riding or on an ATV that a leather jacket will be purchased. Unless they are the passenger with a grown up on a motorcycle, if so, then the leather jacket is looked upon the same way as an adults and that is as a protective garment. Safety wear is just as important for a child as an adult. Most jackets I have seen are made of Buffalo, which is a dense thick skin, warm and very durable. Once again you will need to check the sizing charts to ensure you get one that fits and will have a little room to put in protective pads. You will also want to check the shipping and handling from the company along with the returns policy since all stores are different. One of the biggest problems you will have with the child is having him take it off and not wear it all the time. They will probably want to wear it to school. With all the zippers and belt the jacket can easily be grabbed and you wouldn’t want a pocket to rip because someone snatched the zipper. Leave the jacket at home with his riding gear.
