Are leathers or Gor-tex better for motorcycle clothing?

I’ve just bought a bike and am wondering whether to get leathers or Gor-tex? Anyone with recommendations especially from people with experience welcome!
It depends.
I tried both.
Goretex lasts longer and offers better rain protection.
