Wayd Brothers, Dalton Highway Alaska, Ice Road Truckers, Motorcycle Ride 2009, Harley Davidson. This is some of the video from our Alaska 2009 Motorcycle ride. There is so much more but this is the Dalton Highway portion. We went from Milwaukee to Alaska through Alberta, BC and Yukon territories; Home via California, Death Vally over to the Grand Canyon down to Mexico and back home through Texas and the Midwest. My brother and I are best friends, it’s not always like that but we get along well; he pushes my buttons and I push right back. At the end of the day we’ll sit down have a martini, smoke a cigar and talk like we’ve known each other a LONG time.

All-new for the CVO family is the two-bikes-in-one Softail Convertible. Replacing the CVO Softail Springer of 2009, the FL-based Convertible is built to offer both cruising good looks as well as comfortable light-touring abilities with a set of detachable creature comforts. The detachable kit includes a compact fairing with color-matched paint and smoke windscreen, leather-covered saddlebags with buffalo-hide inserts, and a leather passenger pillion and backrest, both with matching buffalo-hide inserts. Family man, father, Foo Fighter front man, Dave Grohl is taking time off from the road this summer to focus on a newborn, recording new songs to be included on the forthcoming Foo Fighters Greatest Hits & probably a few other things. Doesn’t sound like much of a break and yet he still finds the road in the form of two, or as you’ll see, three wheels. Dave recently took an afternoon to talk about his riding history and its influence on his life & music.
