I bought a motorcycle in Alabama. The motorcycle has never been registered. I live in South Carolina now, but I am a Florida resident. I can’t find any paperwork on the bike at all. How do I go about getting the bike registered?

Unless you are active duty US military or a full-time college student, If you live and work in South Carolina, then legally you are a South Carolina resident.

Is this motorcycle street legal? Did you buy it from a dealer or a private party? Did you get a bill of sale or a title?

Never registered period or registered to you?? If you failed to register it or get it titled in your name then your out of luck , you will have to find the former owner and tell them to request a duplicate title. If you brought it from a dealer you can go try getting paperwork from the dealer.

The most simple way to find out the correct answer to your question would be to contact your local DMV office and give them the info you have mentioned here. If they cannot tell you no one can. By contacting the DMV you won’t have to second guess any answers and you will know for sure.
