A movie stunt driver on a motorcycle speeds horizontally off a 50.0 m high cliff. How fast must the motorcycle leave the cliff top to land on a level ground below, 90.0 m from the base of the cliff where the cameras are? Ignore air resistance.

From the height you can determine the time it takes for the cycle to hit the ground from y=1/2gt^2. So t = sqrt(2y/g) = sqrt (2*50/9.8) = 3.19s. Since there is no acceleration in the x direction we use v=d/t so v = 90m/3.19s = 28.2m/s

Where can I find a pink Harley Davidson onesie?

Posted by admin On November - 11 - 2009

The onesie is made by The Haddad Apparel Group and its white with pink trim and a pink Harley Davidson logo on the front. Its got a Harley Davidson tag. I’ve looked and looked online but I don’t know what store sells/sold it. I purchased it from a secondhand store.

I’m sure the Harley Davidson store sells it. Maybe… oh what’s that store all the goth kids shopped at int he 90s… not Spencer’s… the other silly store. (I forgot).

Do you think women look good in them? Or do they look like dirty biker chicks?

you can wear it with dark colors you know and get a biker chick look. if you wear it with a red or grey top underneath you get a edgy look. if you wear it with a pink top underneath ( light pink ) you get a sassy/sweet look. I have 1, i wear it everywhere. yup, hope i helped.

What do I need to know about Harley Davidson?

Posted by admin On November - 5 - 2009

I have a job interview tomorrow to be a parts counter guy for a Harley Davidson dealership. I don’t know much, just basic mechanical stuff. I do like Harleys of course. I’ll replace my 84 Shadow with one when I get the money. What would be good to know before I go?
I’m on wikipedia reading about engines, model designations and families now.

I hope you do well,BUT a good counter guy KNOWS his product! People like a shop with a knowledgable parts guy. But if you know how to look stuff up you will do allright.

How to apply for a motorcycle or moped driver license if you are over 18

There are two classes of motorcycle licenses, Class M1 and Class M2.

• With a Class M1, you can operate any 2-wheel motorcycle and any motorized vehicle in Class M2.
• With a Class M2, you can only operate any motorized bicycle or moped or any bicycle with an attached motor.

Effective January 1, 2006, you may operate a motorized scooter with a Class M1 or M2 driver license. Prior to January 1, 2006, you must have a Class C or higher driver license to operate a motorized scooter.

A motorized scooter is defined as: A two-wheeled "device" powered by a motor with a floorboard that is designed to stand on when riding. The scooter may also have a driver’s seat.

Refer to the Motorcycle Driver Handbook for more information.

To apply for a motorcycle Class M1 or M2 permit, you will need to:

• Visit a DMV office (make an Appointment(s) for faster service)
• Complete application form DL 44 (An original DL 44 form must be submitted. Copies will not be accepted.)
• Give a thumb print
• Have your picture taken
• Pay the application fee
• Pass a vision exam
• Pass a traffic laws and signs test. You have three chances to pass the test.

Note: To allow you sufficient time for testing DMV will not be administering written or audio exams after 4:30 p.m.

After studying both the California Driver and the Motorcycle Handbooks, call your local DMV to schedule your appointment for the traffic laws and sign test.

After completing the requirements, you will be issued an instruction permit to allow you to practice driving a motorcycle. You may not drive at night, on the freeway, or have any passengers with you.

To apply for your motorcycle Class M1 or M2 license, you must do one of the following:

• If you are under 21, you must complete a motorcycle rider training course given by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and provide a certificate of Completion of Motorcycle Training (DL 389) to DMV to be issued your license. You will not be required to take the motorcycle driving test at DMV if you currently have a California Drivers License.

• If you are over 21, you may either choose to complete the course by CHP and provide the certificate OR schedule an Appointment(s) at DMV to take the driving test. (You may also call 1-800-777-0133 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, to make a driving test appointment.) You have three chances to pass the test.
For information about the CHP training course, please call 1-877-743-3411 or visit www.ca-msp.org.

After you have submitted your CHP certificate or passed your driving test, you will be issued an interim license valid for 60 days until you receive your new photo license in the mail. Double check your address before you leave DMV and tell the DMV representative if you have moved or if your address is incorrect. If you have not received your license after 60 days, call 1-800-777-0133 to check on the status. Have your interim license with you to provide information when requested.

Are leather motorcycle jackets in style?

Posted by admin On November - 3 - 2009

I have this older leather Harley Davidson motorcycle jacket, its really nice I wear it everywhere. I just wanna know,Does that look cool or dumb. I usually wear it with tight jeans and combat boots or cowboy boots. Im not fat either if that makes a difference.

actually, vintage style moto jackets made a comeback this winter, but in a grungy sort of way. The vintage store that I go to a lot completely sold out of moto jackets. For the grunge scene this winter, the biggest looks were moto jackets, over sized ratty flannels, lacy tights, anything that is coated or metalic in a black or gun metal shine, yeah. I think that if you wear your moto jacket well, which it sounds like you do, then you can pull it off.
